• The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of a Professional Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center clinical services.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
• Experience:
• Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
• One year of LPN experience required
• Surgical procedure experience preferred.
• Education and Training:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• License, Certification & Registration:
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
• CPR
• Other Requirements:
• Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice.
• Able to provide a high level of customer service to meet patient experience standards and expectations for the Family Birthplace.
