EVS Specialist

Perform specified routine and on demand cleaning in and around hospital departments, patient care units and ancillary areas. Perform minor repairs, moves, transport of soiled equipment and work in compliance with all safety and other regulations while delivering excellent services to assigned units. All Environmental Services Staff and Leadership are expected and required to adhere to all aspects of the organizations values and Service Standards.

• Perform minor repairs, moves, and transport of soiled equipment.
• Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations while delivering excellent services to assigned units.

• Position Qualifications (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
• Experience:
  
  Proven ability to perform duties and tasks in accordance with established standards.
• Education and Training:
  Ability to read and write English, and to communicate effectively.
• Education and Training:
  Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc.
• License, Certification & Registration:
  Crisis intervention training (CRISISINT) required for staff assigned to behavioral health units and the emergency department.
• Other Requirements:
  Ability to follow instructions, perform repetitive duties, willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality and consideration of patients, staff and visitors, ability to receive criticism professionally.
