Manager of Medical Staff Services oversees the daily operations and staff of the Medical Staff Offices at BMC, Fairview, and North Adams Regional Hospital, ensuring a unified medical staff model for the health system. The role is accountable for all credentialing, re-credentialing, documentation, tracking, and reporting of provider credentials and related processes.

• Oversee daily operations and staff of Medical Staff Offices.
• Assist in achieving a unified medical staff model for the health system.
• Accountable for all credentialing, re-credentialing, documentation, tracking, and reporting.
• Manage and facilitate all credentialing functions, including application management, primary source verification, and development of a centralized verification process.

• Five+ years of physician credentialing experience at hospital or provider level with full organization of data and data management systems.
• Experience utilizing data management or information systems for reporting and tracking provider credentials and quality.
• Experience managing difficult relationships and stressful situations.
• BS or BA degree preferred.
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Equivalent work experience and/or certifications considered.
• Must obtain CPCS – Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist within two years of hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
