We produce, assemble, inspect, and package parts that conform to the defined quality standards and meet the required production schedule.

• Review all product information contained in the Work Instructions before running the press or specific task required.
• Be at assigned workstation on time and prepared.
• Review job performance and details with previous shift operator.
• Conduct assignments under supervision of the Shift supervisor or Product Specialist.
• Keep records and fill required paperwork for each job (e.g., Production Sheet, scrap sheets).
• Prior to attending machine, ensure all components, supplies and fixtures needed are at the press (per Work Instructions).
• Notify Shift Supervisor or Clean Room Tech and Quality Inspector of rejects and quality defects.
• Perform secondary operations at the press such as degating, trimming operations to remove flash, or other minor finishing operations to meet specifications.
• Package parts per instructions in Work Instructions and segregate parts required by Q.C. as noted.
• Notify Shift Supervisor or Process Tech of any changes occurring to process, molded part or scrap rate.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist in general housekeeping duties.
• When not assigned to a different press during down time, perform tasks such as making boxes, putting completed boxes on skids, clean and organize production area.
• Monitor material level in hoppers and inform Material Handler when low on material.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and commit to continuous improvement in all job functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good vision.
• Must have manual dexterity.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Requires repetitive motions, bending, squatting, twisting.
• Must be able to move 1100 lb. gaylords with a pallet jack.
• Requires frequent bending, squatting, twisting motions.
• Must be able to climb stepladders, climb up and down stairs.

• High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
• Basic knowledge of molds and injection molding.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, good judgment, ability to concentrate, simple math.
• Good communication skills; legible writing.
• Accurate paperwork completion.
• Proficient loading and unloading of inserts, metal hand load inserts, or plastic parts from an injection molding press with minimal damage.
• Understanding of quality inspection requirements and ability to judge acceptable parts.
