Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Educator for a Family Birthplace unit focused on OR circulation for C-sections, requiring a MA RN license and strong perinatal experience.

• Position is in the Family Birthplace unit with a focus on operating room circulation for C-sections
• Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred
• Primary responsibility is educating operating room circulation for C-section procedures
• Holiday coverage is part of the expected schedule
• No travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
• Must submit proof of permanent address and required documents at time of consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required
• First-time travelers will be considered if all requirements are met
• Scrub or dress code will be specified by the unit upon start

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of consideration
• BSN or higher degree required
• Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP, all in hand
• Minimum 3 years of RN Educator experience in the perinatal field required
• High proficiency in L&D or circulating for C-sections is required; straight L&D only backgrounds will not be considered
• Experience educating on circulating in the OR for C-sections is required
• Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• COVID vaccination with dose on or after 10/3/23, or approved exemption with mask requirement
