The House Nursing Assistant (HNA) functions in a complimentary or assistive role to the Registered Professional Nurse. The House Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and carries out individual duties on select patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with policies and procedures of the Berkshire Medical Center.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and carry out individual duties on select patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Experience:
Patient care experience preferred. - Education and Training:
High School diploma or equivalent with completion of a House Nursing Assistant course and/or current status as a student in a Registered Nurse program. - License, Certification & Registration: MA NA REGISTRY - MA Certified Nurse Aide preferred; CPR.
- Other Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to work well with people; excellent interpersonal skills and demonstration of Service Excellence Standards in performance of work role. Demonstrated dependability in maintaining a work schedule.
