American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Community Health/Home Health position requiring MA RN licensure and at least one year of home health experience with OASIS proficiency.

• Home health setting providing nursing care to sick and injured patients in their homes
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours/week
• Required to work every third weekend and 1-2 holidays as needed
• On-call responsibilities required

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration; compact licenses not accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum one year of acute nursing care experience required, hospital-based experience preferred
• Home health experience required
• Certified Home Health required, including proficiency with OASIS
• Infusion therapy certification preferred
• BSN highly preferred
• Current driver's license and auto insurance required
• Must have own vehicle for use during assignment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines required

• Provide, teach, supervise, and document nursing care for sick and injured patients in the home setting
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community representatives to coordinate home-based care
• Evaluate patient and family response to interventions and adjust care accordingly
• Work independently under general guidance while following facility protocols and policies
• Utilize strong time management, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to drive in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to pass a fit test using an N95 mask (PAPRs not available for home health use)
• Mileage reimbursement provided only to/from office or between patient visits, not from home/housing
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) accepted during the assignment, and all RTO must be submitted prior to interview
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
