American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring telemetry experience and an active MA RN license.

• Med/Surg unit in a 298-bed teaching hospital
• Units range from 20 to 34 beds with a typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, scheduled on a 48-hour guaranteed time per week basis
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing to float to any Med/Surg unit
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment

• Active MA RN license (compact licenses not accepted) required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Must have a Skills Checklist for Medical Surgical experience current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

• Care for a general medical-surgical patient population within a teaching hospital setting
• Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted for the duration of the assignment
• Must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled:
  Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Not eligible for consideration if residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Must provide at least two specific interview availability date/times at the time of profile submission
