American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3+ years of ER experience and active TNCC, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Work in the Emergency Room of a 298-bed teaching hospital
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour afternoon/night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 36-hour guaranteed weekly schedule
• Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage required if scheduled
• No on-call requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration; compact licenses not accepted
• 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience required (within the last 6 months)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Candidate must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Skills checklist for Emergency Room experience required, current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

• Facility is ranked among the safest hospitals in the nation with multiple patient safety awards
• Offers a full continuum of medical specialties including emergency medicine, cardiology, neurology, and more
• Must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled:
  Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted for the duration of the assignment, and all time-off requests must be submitted at time of profile upload
• Block scheduling requests will not be considered for this position
• Candidates seeking to work this assignment in conjunction with another permanent or travel position will not be considered
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
