Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and dependable dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, as well as assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing and Cleaning:
Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain a clean and organized dish area. - Kitchen Maintenance:
Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and orderly. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, and other surfaces. - Waste Management:
Properly dispose of waste, sort recyclables, and manage garbage and recycling bins. - Basic Food Prep:
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, following all food safety guidelines. - Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and report any faults or damages to management. - Health and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety standards, including food hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of standing for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
