Survivor Mentor
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Pay Range: $21.75 - $23.00 per hour
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,500
About the JobRFK Community Alliance offers voluntary mentoring services to participants who are survivors of commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC) or are suspected of CSEC. The Survivor Mentor will provide one‑to‑one support to adolescent youth who have been commercially sexually exploited, working directly with them in home and community settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to increase safety, reduce exploitation, and support recovery.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Provide one‑on‑one support and mentoring to adolescent youth, with meetings lasting 1–3 hours as scheduled (weekly, bi‑weekly, or monthly) at the youth’s location (group care, juvenile justice facility, foster home, family setting, or community).
- Document each contact using designated reporting forms and data collection forms.
- Collaborate with other mentoring team members to develop appropriate support, education, and treatment plans.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, to enhance youth safety and support prosecution efforts when appropriate.
- Attend supervision meetings with the Legacy Program Coordinator and staff meetings.
- Co‑facilitate exploitation prevention groups with adolescent youth in schools, group homes, etc., when appropriate.
- Attend required trainings and track professional development hours.
- Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor within the scope of the position.
You are passionate about working with adolescent youth, have a positive attitude, and believe in recovery from commercial sexual exploitation. You are collaborative, culturally competent, and respectful of diversity.
Qualifications- Personal history as a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation as an adolescent or young adult.
- Minimum of five years in recovery from sexual exploitation.
- Experience and knowledge working with LGBTQI+ youth preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; LGBTQI+ and male survivors encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and respect for diversity and inclusion.
- Alignment with agency core values.
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, day shift with flexible hours and occasional evenings.

This position includes a $3,500 sign‑on incentive—$750 after 3 months, $750 after 6 months, and $2,000 after 12 months.
