As a part‑time Security Officer in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will focus on access control duties, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security‑related incidents. You will remain visible to provide exceptional customer service and communication, while supporting a secure environment.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including access control measures for the location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and/or potential security‑related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the location and around the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or security‑related concerns.
• Document and report all security‑related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist visitors, vendors, and staff with access needs while maintaining adherence to site‑specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
