Manufacturing Manager

Judge Direct Placement is working with a manufacturer in the Placentia, CA area seeking a Manufacturing Manager who is responsible for directing all production operations to achieve critical targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
. This role requires strong leadership to manage and develop the production team while driving continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) across the facility.

• Lead and manage the entire manufacturing team, including supervisors and production staff, focusing on training, performance, and accountability.
• Develop, execute, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and on-time delivery targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Manage operational budget
  , controlling costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Implement and champion continuous improvement (CI) projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
• Oversee quality control procedures and conduct root cause analysis to resolve production and quality issues promptly.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with Supply Chain/Procurement to ensure material availability.
• Maintain and optimize equipment performance by planning and overseeing preventative maintenance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership/management.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
