Core French Instructor

Join Laval High School as a Core French Instructor and contribute to students' language proficiency. You will foster a rich bilingual environment focusing on student achievement.

This is a full-time TERM role starting on September 8, 2026, and ending June 25, 2027. As a French second-language teacher, you will facilitate learning by applying culturally responsive teaching strategies and engaging students with varied resources. Collaboration and professionalism are vital to your teaching philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement effective language instruction

• Create inclusive and safe learning spaces

• Provide meaningful feedback on student learning

• Collaborate with educational community members

• Develop authentic interactive strategies for learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education - Secondary, specialization in French

• Level IV NL Teaching Certificate or equivalent

• B2 DELF Assessment passing score

• fluency in French language and pedagogy

• Commitment to student-first educational philosophies
