The YMCA is seeking a dedicated coach for its successful Small Steps for Big Changes initiative. This role focuses on empowering adults to adopt healthier behaviors through tailored exercise sessions and individualized counseling. Program participation emphasizes lifelong practices for improved health and wellbeing in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate evidence-based exercise sessions for clients

• Provide one-on-one behavior change counseling

• Foster self-regulatory skills for healthy lifestyle choices

• Create a respectful and inclusive environment

• Collaborate with team members to enhance client experiences

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Standard First Aid and CPR certification required

• Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check

• Commitment to personal growth and responsibility

• Strong organizational and communication skills
