The El Dorado County Office of Education fulfills the substitute needs of 15 School Districts and 4 County Programs within El Dorado County. Qualified individuals are being sought to serve as substitute teachers when regular certificated staff are absent. The Substitute Teacher – El Dorado County Retired Teacher posting is for individuals who have retired from El Dorado County and hold a valid Full California Credential.

- Provides learning experiences and teaches the lessons of study prescribed by the classroom teacher or administrator.
- Develops and uses instructional materials suitable for verbal and/or visual instruction of students with a wide range of mental, physical, and emotional maturity.
