**** POSITION SUMMARY The Clinic Receptionist of Marshall Outpatient Clinics schedules, greets and registers patients, provides reception, routing phone calls to the appropriate party and collects payments when necessary.  In addition, this position provides clerical support to the clinic on a daily basis.

* Basic medical terminology, insurance billing, and computer familiarity is preferred.#

· Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
· Basic office equipment familiarity
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
· Maintains positive disposition at all times is required.
* Comfortable with regularly verifying and processing insurance eligibility and obtaining authorization requests, including verifying personal credentials with external partners to obtain this information (e.g.,  for identity verification for VA insurance coordination).
