Pay: $70,000 - $90,000

Schedule:

9.5-hour Shift | Monday - Thursday | 1st Shift

• Research, design, prototype, and production‑ready custom assemblies.
• Experiment with new emerging materials and electro‑mechanical hardware.
• Computer model mechanical systems.
• Use a model of dynamic systems.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines.
• Write operational documentation with technical authors.
• Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting hardware defects.
• Problem‑solve at team and individual levels.

• Knowledge of materials (material source).
• BS/MS in Engineering, Math, or Physics.
• 4+ years hands‑on experience in hardware development.
• Solid foundation in mechanical mathematics and computer modeling.
• Ability to create technical design documentation.
• Strong communication skills, task relay, and agenda setting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of materials and metals.
• Machine shop skills welcome.
• Knowledge of circuit boards welcome.
• Software skills welcome.
