Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a contract position within a school setting.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assisting students in overcoming speech and language difficulties, enabling them to communicate effectively and reach their full academic potential.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

ASHA CCC certification.

ISBE PEL (Professional Educator License).

Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.

Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment approaches.

Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment results.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and school staff.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome communication challenges.
