Major Responsibilities:

• Implement nutrition screening system for cancer patients undergoing active treatment.
• Provide individualized nutrition assessments, counseling and nutrition recommendations based on patients' specific therapies and nutrition needs utilizing appropriate interpersonal and communication skills.
• Monitoring and evaluation of interventions with patients, both in clinic and as follow up appointments as needed.
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team patient-care rounds for acute-care cancer patients.
• Provide ongoing nutrition education for patients and in-services for staff addressing nutrition topics and research pertinent to cancer patients.
• Collaborate with other health professionals as appropriate and develop nutrition education and resource materials as needed.
• Attending education programs to maintain status as effective and knowledgeable resource regarding patients' nutrition needs.
• Consistently meet the goals set forth to maintain Duly Commission on Cancer related to field of expertise
• Attendance in Cancer Tumor Board Conferences

• Proven experience as an Oncology Dietitian Preferred.
• BS degree in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Illinois State License.
• Specialized certification in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) preferred.

If you are committed to putting our patients first and helping shape the future of care, you belong  compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $25.94-$38.91/hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
