* A Shift (Days): 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* B Shift (Days): 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* C Shift (Nights): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* D Shift (Nights): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Please note:
These positions require working rotating 12-hour shifts
Job Description:
We are seeking Machine Operators to operate and monitor plastic manufacturing equipment, including injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion machines. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to safety and product quality.
Responsibilities
* Operate production machinery to manufacture plastic products according to specifications.
* Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing processes.
* Assist with mold changes, machine start-ups, and shutdowns.
* Perform quality checks and accurately complete production records.
* Conduct minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
* Handle materials and assist with loading and unloading equipment.
* Monitor machine performance, minimize scrap, and maintain production efficiency.
* Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications
* Previous injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion experience preferred.
* Knowledge of HDPE or PET plastics is a plus.
* Mechanical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with hand tools.
* Forklift experience and warehouse knowledge are beneficial.
* Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, or SAP is a plus.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including temperatures above 90°F.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
