GP Veterinary Technician

Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Plainfield, IL. As a 20-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital, we provide top-tier veterinary care to pets throughout the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Due to growth within our GP department, we are expanding our team!

• Brand-New Facility – Opened in 2023, featuring 20 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, an ICU with oxygen cages, and double dental suites.
• Exciting & Varied Case Load – Hands-on experience in patient care, lab diagnostics, and client education.
• Collaborative & Passionate DVM Team – Work alongside veterinarians with 25-30 years of experience who love to mentor and teach.

• Competitive Compensation – $16-$23/hour based on experience.

• A Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or an experienced Veterinary Technician with 1+ years of experience.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• We are seeking someone with open and flexible availability. The GP is closed on Sundays. Current hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
  Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While these are our current hours, they may be extended in the future, so candidates must be willing to accommodate potential changes in the schedule. Saturday availability is required.

• Assist veterinarians in general practice appointments
• Educate clients on preventative care and treatment plans.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.
