As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security‑related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location to help deter unauthorized entry and/or activities, following established access control procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, reporting findings as required by Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter security‑related incidents and observe for any unusual activity.
• Document all security‑related observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel to provide assistance and enforce access control protocols as needed.
• Remain alert to any potential security‑related risks within the logistics and distribution environment, and elevate concerns through the appropriate channels.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
