Position Overview
Plainfield CCSD 202 is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to support students at Plainfield Academy, our alternative school. The primary focus of this role will be facilitating therapeutic referrals and providing social-emotional support to students in need.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct student assessments and develop support plans
- Coordinate and make therapeutic referrals for students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Support a positive, inclusive school environment for all learners
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
- Experience in a school or alternative education setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Compensation for this position ranges from $26.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
