Senior Accountant – Fast Track to Accounting Manager

Base pay range: $85,000 – $110,000 per year

• Manage and oversee the monthly general ledger close across multiple entities.
• Review and evaluate general ledger activity; ensure proper U.S. GAAP treatment for significant and complex transactions.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations; assist with troubleshooting escalated issues.
• Drive process improvements to streamline the close timeline while strengthening internal controls.
• Partner with Payroll, Billing, Sales, and Operations on revenue recognition, margin analysis, and accounting accuracy.
• Support system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades—including testing and implementation.
• Prepare and review monthly P&Ls, division‑level reporting, and quarterly financial statements (BS, IS, CF, Equity).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies for all financial reporting and disclosures.
• Research and implement new accounting standards as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a U.S.‑based, accredited institution.
• 3–6 years of total accounting experience:
• Public accounting (audit)
• OR a strong public/private blend
• OR corporate accounting with CPA completed
• Very strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• A polished, stable career history with clear progression.

• CPA or parts completed.
• Experience reviewing the work of others (formal supervisory experience not required).
