Position Title: Distribution FTE
Position Brand Description
This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for
order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping
pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers.
Distribution Operator typically rotates through a variety of roles
related to performing these functions.
Key Objectives/Deliverables/Responsible
- Receiving/Shipping of materials, storage of material in appropriate storage locations
- Picking, packing, preparation and shipping to customer orders, order processing in warehouse inventory system, cycle counting.
- Adhere to PDC Site safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
- Adherent to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Follow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities
- Meet appropriate goals for performance improvement as defined by area Leadership.
- Maintain learning plan at 100% current.
- Constantly looking for improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent
- 5-7 yrs of warehouse distribution experience is required.
- Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system (EWM) such as SAP, Exacta and RF scanners.
- Experience operating a variety of Powered Industrial Trucks
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be flexible and willing to be cross trained to perform multiple assignments.
- Must be willing to work overtime with little notice
- Must be reliable and have a good work attendance history
- Basic computer skills, with the capability to learn in more detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be willing to work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46F)
- Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs.) and bending are required.
- Plainfield Distribution Center
- Plainfield, Indiana, reports to the - Supervisor of Distribution Operations.
- Work Shift:
5 days a week, 8-hour days Sunday - Thursday, 11:15AM - 8:00PM
