Our municipal water resources team is rapidly becoming a significant portion of our business by partnering with growing communities in central Indiana to design environmental infrastructure in the areas of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, and storm water systems. We are a local engineering firm with local people serving local communities helping them find the best solution and solve challenges.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Civil Engineer Project Manager specializing in Water and Wastewater projects, located in Plainfield, IN. Project Managers lead and oversee the design, planning, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, budgets, client communications, and coordinating activities with multidisciplinary teams. The role also involves mentoring team members, conducting site visits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and preparing reports or presentations as needed.
Qualifications- Proven proficiency in water and wastewater system design, project management, and regulatory compliance processes
- Strong skills in leadership, team management, and client communication
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD and GIS mapping tools
- Ability to conduct site evaluations, prepare technical reports, and manage project budgets effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred - 5 - 7 years previous experience in water and wastewater projects is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
- Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget
