** In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II, you will be a part of the Americas Service & Repair team with a focus on spare part/accessory manufacturing and some device manufacturing. Service of medical devices is crucial to ensuring their safe and effective operation, which ultimately allows healthcare professionals to deliver reliable and high-quality care to their patients.

You will be an integral part of the team that supports the company’s quality policy to Put Patients First. This team colla borates with global teams to support products across several portfolios in Medtronic.
** A Day in the Life
** Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
* Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
* Colla borates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
* Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
* Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
* Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
* May specialize in the areas of production control, product evaluation and reliability, and/or inventory control as they apply to product or process quality.
** Qualifications
- **** Must Have:

Minimum Requirements
** Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science related discipline with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in Engineering and/or Quality, Or Advanced degree with 0 years of experience
** Nice to Have
*** Root Cause Analysis training
* Audit Readiness (external and internal audit experience).
* CAPA experience (owner of CAPAs).
* Process improvements (creation and implementation of improvements).
* Experience in a manufacturing environ ment.
* Experience with creation and complet ion of change controls.
* Medical devices or Pharma experience.
* Bachelors in Engineering.
