ACCOUNTANT (Entry Level 0-5 Years Experience)
This is a Corporate Accounting Position at a company which manufactures large automotive systems and components (Automotive Tier
1). Our client is a 1,500 person manufacturing company, looking to add an Accountant with a successful track record for growth over the past 20 years. The candidate will work closely with company management (CFO, controller, President and others) on Finance & Accounting data.
This position is located in the Greater Indianapolis Area.
Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Job Description - Accountant- The Accountant will support the accounting team with financial operations, including general ledger, journal entries and preparation of financial reports.
- Assist with budget planning, cost tracking, and performance analysis across multiple departments within the manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Support budget planning and track financial data for various departments.
- Perform financial analysis, including budget‑to‑actual, cost, and variance analysis.
- Compile and present financial data using Microsoft Excel, including charts and reports for management review.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; internships are valued, co‑op or key projects in accounting/finance are a plus.
- 0–5 years of work experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related business roles.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, trend analysis, formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a cross‑functional team environment.
Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card & Permanent US Resident. No visa support is available.
