ACCOUNTANT (Entry Level 0-5 Years Experience)

This is a Corporate Accounting Position at a company which manufactures large automotive systems and components (Automotive Tier
1). Our client is a 1,500 person manufacturing company, looking to add an Accountant with a successful track record for growth over the past 20 years. The candidate will work closely with company management (CFO, controller, President and others) on Finance & Accounting data.

This position is located in the Greater Indianapolis Area.

Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• The Accountant will support the accounting team with financial operations, including general ledger, journal entries and preparation of financial reports.
• Assist with budget planning, cost tracking, and performance analysis across multiple departments within the manufacturing environment.
• Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Support budget planning and track financial data for various departments.
• Perform financial analysis, including budget‑to‑actual, cost, and variance analysis.
• Compile and present financial data using Microsoft Excel, including charts and reports for management review.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; internships are valued, co‑op or key projects in accounting/finance are a plus.
• 0–5 years of work experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related business roles.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, trend analysis, formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a cross‑functional team environment.
