Full‑Time Dialysis Technician, CCHT

Location:

Plainfield, IN – in the Plainfield Correctional Facility.

Compensation: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience and market data). Full‑time schedule, 5:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Saturday.

• Perform and monitor hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Ensure all safety checks are completed before each dialysis session.
• Monitor and record dialysis parameters (vital signs, weight, etc.) and communicate information to licensed personnel.
• Administer oxygen as necessary and perform routine tests (blood samples, culture specimens).
• Keep the dialysis unit clean and maintain supplies (stocking, washing machines, water checks, etc.).
• Participate in performance improvement projects, IDT, QAPI committee and attend meetings as required.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Know and perform the hemodialysis procedure according to Rendevor Dialysis policies.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control.
• Document patient assessments, lab results, and procedural logs.
• Assist with water treatment system, mixing medications, and safety checks.
• Report errors, near misses, and concerns for improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and company information.
• Participate in training, quality projects, and peer evaluations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Unit Leader.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or equivalent certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of clinical dialysis experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with computers, laptops, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.

Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with the full schedule ranging from 5 to 15 hours per day depending on patient census.
