Azenta Life Sciences seeks a Foreign Trade Zone Manager to oversee FTZ compliance, operations, and inventory management at the Plainfield, IN site. The role requires expertise in CBP regulations, inventory systems, and cross-functional leadership to ensure regulatory adherence and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead FTZ program operations ensuring compliance with CBP regulations and FTZ Board requirements
- Own inventory control and recordkeeping systems, conducting cycle counts and investigating variances
- Serve as primary contact for CBP audits, inquiries, and document submissions
- Manage daily FTZ activities including receipts, transfers, withdrawals, and shipments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and track compliance KPIs across operations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 5+ years FTZ operations, customs compliance, or regulated warehouse experience
- Strong knowledge of CBP regulations (19 CFR 146) and FTZ procedures
- Experience managing audits and regulatory interactions
- Proficiency with inventory control systems (ICRS, WMS, or similar)
- FTZ certification or customs compliance training (preferred)
- Experience in life sciences or highly regulated environments (preferred)
Compensation: $86,000–$108,000 base
