We are immediately hiring a Dock Operations Clerk in Plainfield, IN for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Under general supervision, the Shipping/Office Coordinator performs clerical functions including shipment bills of ladings, receiving, classifying, reconciling consolidating and summarizing of documents and information. Maintains records or logs. Verifies completion and accuracy of information. Sets up and maintains files and records.

• Coordinate and schedule shipments with freight carriers and couriers
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and paperwork for both domestic and international locations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping activities.
• Coordinate and prioritize outbound shipments with production personnel.
• Ensure company safety policies and regulatory requirements are met at all times.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Provides service-oriented attitude in support of customer shipments, both internal and external., Required
• Highly thorough and dependable with strong verbal skills. Direct Customer interaction requires a positive, service oriented posture to maintain a positive relationship., Required

• H.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred
• 2 years or more in shipping, logistics or warehouse office operations, Required
• Familiarity with carrier scheduling, and freight booking. Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP. Beginner, Required
• Experience preparing and reviewing key documents like bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, etc. Intermediate, Required
