Position Summary:
This role is accountable for the successful annual delivery of assigned Emergent and SRP (System Reliability Program) initiatives that do not require Engineering Design. The Program Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams including Construction & Maintenance (C&M), Work Management, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Project Management, and Finance to ensure programs are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with operational priorities.
The position may support single-region or enterprise-wide programs and serves as a central coordinator for planning, execution, performance monitoring, and closeout of emergent and emergency work.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to define annual work plans
, confirm funding, and validate estimates. - Partner with Asset Management, C&M, Work Management, and Transmission Finance to ensure programs are properly budgeted, resourced, and initiated according to documented processes.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Finance, and Operations to assess and recommend annual funding requirements for Emergent and Emergency work.
- Work with Technical Support and C&M to prioritize, initiate, and integrate unplanned emergent work
. - Facilitate bi-weekly stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment on scope, priorities, risks, and progress.
- Monitor program performance and provide monthly cost and schedule status reporting
. - Identify, manage, and elevate risks and issues that could impact delivery of planned or high-priority work.
- Utilize standardized reporting to communicate progress and variances to sponsors, leadership, Project Management, and C&M.
- Forecast budget and schedule outcomes based on trend analysis.
- Monitor work order completion and ensure timely and accurate As-Built CUE completion
. - Ensure systems are properly closed as assets are placed in service and ARC failures are resolved
. - Conduct ongoing reviews of processes and reporting to identify efficiency improvements and best practices
. - Provide feedback to Project Management regarding estimate variances.
- Participate in:
- Weekly Correctives calls
- Weekly planning meetings
- Bi-weekly coordination meetings with Project Management
- Bi-weekly Routine Capital calls (including emergent and SRP non-engineered work)
- Coordinate annual work plan development meetings with all stakeholders.
- Program and stakeholder management
