Quality Control Specialist

Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN

• Assesses samplings of orders for picking, receiving, staging, and putaway accuracy.
• Sets objectives for quality assurance compliance to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Assists with planning & implementing performance improvement and quality assurance programs.
• Ensures compliance with quality standards.
• Assists with guiding production staff about the quality measures.
• Observes staff performance by collecting significant information and preparing reports.
• Assists in determining quality related training requirements and providing training.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Prepares report about the progress and requirements to the management.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience is preferred. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Logistics Specialists experience strongly preferred.
• Requires proven experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Requires ERP or Warehouse Management System experience.
• Some assignments may be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.
• Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
• Requires long periods of standing and heavy pushing and pulling.
• Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist; lift up to 20 pounds from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 pounds.
