This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products when operating the restaurant. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

A Shift Manager leads shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. The Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness for customers.

• Ensure food safety standards are met.
• Facilitate internal communication among staff.
• Manage inventory and oversee supplies.
• Maintain daily maintenance and cleanliness.
• Manage and coach the crew.
• Ensure quality food production.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain safety and security protocols.
• Schedule crew shifts effectively.
• Provide training to new and existing staff.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments. Candidates should be positive team players, flexible with scheduling, and enthusiastic about working in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years of age or older to serve as a manager in a corporate‑owned restaurant.
