Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart, etc.).

• Self-starter with leadership and problem-solving skills
• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintain a clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superiors, co-workers, and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Ability to use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding; soldering and welding a plus
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules

• Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC, or construction
• Minimum two years of electrical experience
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
• Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and/or certifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license; forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
• Work involves frequent sitting, talking, and listening

$21.00 – $22.00 per hour

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
