Food Service Equipment Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Equipment Technician to provide high‑quality service, repair, and maintenance on commercial food service equipment for our long‑established customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of refrigeration systems (certification is a strong plus). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys independent field work, problem‑solving, and delivering excellent customer service.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial food service equipment
• Work with single‑phase and three‑phase electrical systems
• Perform refrigeration‑related service work (specialty refrigeration tools provided)
• Provide clear communication with customers and ensure a positive service experience
• Complete all service documentation accurately and on time
• Travel to customer sites using a company‑provided service van
• Occasional overnight travel as needed
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction

• Hands‑on electrical experience required
• Refrigeration experience strongly preferred; EPA certification a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must supply own basic tools (specialty refrigeration tools provided)
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Positive attitude, reliability, and problem‑solving mindset
• No ladder climbing or rooftop work required
