Summary

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, documentation, and coordination of all finished goods. Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas within the facility.

Responsibilities

Forklift Certified and able to drive Stand-Up and Sit-Down forklift.

Checking loads are secure.

Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and pre-trip inspections.

Qualifications

Forklift certification per OSHA standards (minimum 1-3 years of direct experience in a similar position).

High School diploma or equivalent.

Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.

High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.

Follow instructions for operating equipment safely.

Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

Maintain a clean & safe environment.

Completion of a forklift training program is required.

Physical demands include regularly sitting or standing on a powered industrial truck, frequently lifting up to 40 pounds, and adjusting body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time if on the stand-up lift.

Having a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination.

Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.

Pay Range

USD $18.47 - USD $18.47 /Hr.
