Material Handler
Overview
Onsite at the Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. Full-time from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oversee the daily function of the assigned team and ensure that all responsibilities are met. Facilitate assignments as instructed by the Supervisor and Facility Manager. Effectively utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to document all receiving and purchasing activity including Requisition s, Purchase Order (PO) Stock items, PO Nonstock items, and Non-PO items.
Ensure daily picking, delivery, and receiving priorities are strictly adhered to. Stage products to be put away or delivered to the customer. Troubleshoot and conduct service recovery when facility processes are delayed. Assist with Quality and Inventory Control assignments and recall procedures. Require willingness and ability to cover all job assignments of the assigned team. Require on‑call rotation and weekend coverage.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to use a personal computer, Microsoft applications, and ERP system.
- Some assignments may require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment. Must obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.
- Long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
- Continuous ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over‑the‑head; carry up to 25 lbs.
