Position Summary

QCC NJ is leading and rapidly growing premium cultivator, co-manufacturer and co-packer of cannabis products. We are seeking a highly experienced, skilled and results-driven Sales Support Specialist as a permanent employee in our Plainfield, NJ manufacturing site. This crucial role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a deep command of S&OP, supply and demand planning, procurement and purchasing, logistics, inventory management and optimization, and robust data management.

The Sales and Customer Support Specialist will work closely with our Regional Sales Manager and Operations team, serving as a key point of contact for customer service needs and providing administrative and logistical support for sales activities. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and enjoys problem‑solving, organization, and multitasking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries, and account inquiries.
  • Investigate and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Track and document customer interactions to identify service trends and improvements.
  • Deliver excellent service via phone, email, and in‑person communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Fulfillment, and Operations teams to ensure quick resolutions.
  • Strong affinity to providing quality customer service
  • Coordination with METRC Specialist
  • Assist the Territory Sales Manager with data entry, reporting, and order processing.
  • Track product and merchandise inventory to ensure availability.
  • Monitor sales trends and provide feedback to improve customer retention.
  • Maintain detailed records of transactions, customer communications, and issue resolution.
  • Help coordinate deliveries, product availability, and follow‑ups.
  • Handle incoming emails and responses to chargebacks, credit memos, deductions and damages.
  • Must be able to set priority of accounts.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer support, sales coordination, or administrative support (experience in the cannabis industry is a plus).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a customer‑first mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, onsite environment.
  • Familiarity with New Jersey cannabis regulations is a plus.
