The Title I Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Plainfield, NJ. This educator provides targeted instructional support to students who qualify for Title I services, focusing on closing achievement gaps in core subjects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering small-group and individual lessons, using data to identify student needs, and collaborating with classroom teachers to align intervention with the general curriculum.
The Title I Teacher monitors progress, maintains accurate records, and communicates regularly with families and colleagues about student outcomes. Additional duties may include participation in professional development, contributing to school-wide initiatives, and supporting a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Strong foundation in Teaching and Education, with the ability to support diverse learners in a K–12 setting.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Elementary Education, particularly in designing differentiated and standards-aligned instruction.
- Ability to use Research and data analysis to inform instructional decisions and assess student progress.
- Relevant state teaching certification or eligibility for certification in New Jersey.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience working in Title I or similar intervention settings is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
