** What You’ll Do
*** Check inventory and replenish consumables
* Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with company and OSHA policies/procedures
* Assist in updating current SOPs and work guides.
* Ability to plan and manage projects under supervision
* Perform assigned lab tasks which may include but not limited to:
* DNA and RNA extraction from a variety of sample types using standard and custom protocols, aid and train team members
* Quality and quantity check for all sample types, comprehend and review QC data in depth and provide feedback accordingly
* Perform standard, custom and specialized library preparation, assist with troubleshooting efforts
* Proper operation and routine maintenance across Illumina and Pac Bio platforms
* Handle communications between internal teams for project related issues and questions
* Proper documentation and record keeping
** What You Will Bring
*** BS in Biological Sciences or related discipline with 5+ years of related lab experience required
* MS in Biological Sciences or related discipline with 3+ years of related lab experience preferred
* Experience in a Next Generation Sequencing lab required, cell handling experience preferred
* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
* Highly motivated and well organized
* Independent, detailed oriented, team player
* Closely follow Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to react to situations with a sense of urgency

** United States Base Compensation: $61,000.00 - $76,000.00

The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications),  qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
