Veterinary Technician — Exotic & General Care

Pet Vet Care Centers' Plainfield Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our team!

We're a busy, full-service general practice with a diverse caseload of canine, feline, and exotic patients, so no two days are quite the same. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of cases, build your skills, and continue learning alongside our doctors and veterinary team.

We're also in an exciting period of growth. We have new medical leadership, two newer doctors that also joined, and a growing exotic medicine caseload. We're continuing to build our team and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us—not just fill a position.

Position Overview

Join our team as a Veterinary Technician who supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.
