Inpatient Non-Invasive Cardiologist focus Echocardiogram - Plainview Hospital

The Cardiology Department at Northwell Health’s Plainview Hospital is seeking a Full-time Non-invasive Cardiologist to join our team. This opportunity will have a large focus on Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiology, and Echocardiography as we continue to build our comprehensive non-invasive cardiology program at Plainview Hospital. Training in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CTA, and vascular interpretation is a plus.

Candidates will be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology & Echocardiography and will have proficiency in TTE and TEE. The ideal candidate must exhibit a tremendous interest in Echocardiography. Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship preferred although not required. Junior and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. This is an exciting opportunity for leadership and growth.

Plainview Hospital opened its new 8,100-square-foot cardiac catheterization laboratory in June 2023, bringing life-saving, complex cardiac care to central Nassau County. The suite at Plainview includes two labs that will serve patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One of the labs has electrophysiology capabilities which provides patient procedures such as cardiac mapping, treating arrhythmias, pacemaker implants, and cardiac ablations.

The laboratory, located on the second floor of the hospital at 888 Old Country Road in Plainview, also has a control room, a seven bay prep and recovery area with a nurse’s station and support spaces.
