We are a growing Eastern Long Island-based firm looking for a NY Professional Structural Engineer to join our team. We would relocate you to the beautiful Hamptons on the East End of Long Island.
Responsibilities- Develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction oversight.
- Prepare civil engineering designs including grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater design, erosion & sediment control.
- Assist with the preparation of permitting, design, and construction documents.
- Prepare plans, technical documents, reports, and clear and concise letters and memoranda.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of Structural Residential Engineering experience.
- Experience in site development and grading, stormwater design, erosion & sediment control.
- Experience preparing design drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High motivation, self‑starter, professional attitude, ability to work with professionals and contractors.
- Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.
- OSHA 10‑hour Construction training is a plus.
$125,000 - $160,000, with bonus program, health benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match and other perks.
