Duration: 3+ months of Contract with (temp-to-hire)

Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-3pm, rotational Saturday 6am-12pm
Payrate: $21.00/ hr. on w2

Job Summary
  • The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the frontline representative of the company, interacting directly with patients during routine healthcare visits or important health-related decisions.
  • The PSR I is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and compassion to build trust and confidence with patients while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities 3>
Patient Care & Specimen Collection
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
  • Draw blood specimens in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner.
  • Provide phlebotomy services for pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to process excellence.
Professional Standards
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Proficient with straight needle usage and EMR computer systems.
Availability
  • Flexible availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
  • Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboarding and data entry experience required.
Additional Information
  • Must be capable of using a straight needle and EMR systems.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures is required.
