Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans;

using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs following company guidelines under the direct supervision of a qualified shop technician on some Walmart equipment such as trailers. This includes creating and processing work orders, assessing maintenance and repair needs, identifying needed parts and possible solutions, selecting the best solution, conducting maintenance and repairs such as dismounting/installing tires on wheels, repairing flats, balancing tires, adjusting landing gear, replacing lights, trailer‑door repairs, and following company and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and requirements.
• Seek approval for maintenance and repairs performed by qualified shop technicians.
• Communicate with individuals or groups (customers, suppliers, associates) verbally and in writing and complete work‑order records, logs and other documents according to established procedures.
• Receive fuel drops and conduct fuel sampling by monitoring the drop for safety compliance, following procedures for fuel additives, monitoring tank levels, collecting and preparing fuel samples for analysis and shipping, and completing appropriate paperwork.
