The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated by licensed nurse.
- Maintain a safe, hazard‑free, clean environment.
- Provide patient‑centered care and foster whole‑person care.
- Coursework/Training:
Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT). - National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire).
- National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant – National Health Career Association (upon hire).
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
- 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting.
- 6 months of phlebotomy experience.

- Work Status:
Full Time. - Shift: Day.
- Onsite position; commutable distance.
Pay range $15.40 – $23.08; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
