Pay Range: $16.94 – $25.92 per hour

Bonuses: $2,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible rehires and external hires

Description:

The Medical Assistant (MA II) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in patient care. The MA II performs all duties of an MA I and is fully competent in the clinical functions required at the assigned clinic/location. Responsibilities include patient assessment, vital signs, injections, medication administration, and support of clinical staff. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed practitioners with patient care tasks.
• Obtain vital signs and administer injections.
• Administer medications and manage medication schedules.
• Support clinical and administrative staff as needed.
• Follow all established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant program with hands‑on training OR graduated from a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program OR completed at least two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces OR minimum one year of medical assistant experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Minimum six months of healthcare experience.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
• Minimum six months of medical assistant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Medical Assistant certification upon hire.
• Experience in roles such as CNA, nurse assistant, phlebotomist, EMT, paramedic, lab technician, long‑term care, rehabilitation, or administrative front office.
• Experience in patient services, patient access, medical claims, and customer service in healthcare or related settings.
