Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Laboratory

Description

Laboratory Assistant – Clinical Laboratory. Performs routine collection procedures, assists technologists and technicians in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology. Processes laboratory specimens. Coordinates and performs clerical/reception, client/patient/customer related duties pertaining to laboratory testing and relays information between the laboratory, other hospital areas and clients.

• This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
• Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location:
  Texas:
  Plainview.
• Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled.

• Laboratory experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Medical Terminology.
• Computer experience to include Windows Excel and Word.
